St. Peter’s Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) is on a major undefeated streak – it boasts a 42-0 record during the regular season over the past 4 seasons. Running back/cornerback Mike Brown has been one of the key components in the streak.

The 5-9, 180-pound star, who was played for the varsity squad since his freshman year, credits the system that develops and gets the most out of its talent.

“We just have a good program,” Brown said. “The weight room is very important in what we do. We never drop off. Our coaches are great and they are adamant about the weight room program and summer workouts.”

Of course, it helps when you have 4-star players like Mike Brown . As evidenced by his statistics this year, Brown is extremely explosive on offense. He has 30 carries for 600 yards and 12 touchdowns in 8 games in 2004. Because St. Peter’s often dominates opponents, Brown consistently plays only one half in games.
