In a recent ESPN interview, Derrick Williams , the nation’s #1 overall player, did not include Virginia as a team in the mix for his services.

I caught up with Derrick for an interview last evening…so have the ‘Hoos been eliminated?

“I’m still looking at Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Penn State and UVa,” Williams said. “That’s my original top 7 and nothing has changed.”

Williams has made an official visit to Florida and has one scheduled to Oklahoma for the weekend of November 12th. No other visits have been set.
