Tech Adds International Flavor to Class

According to the Roanoke Times, Virginia Tech has added a fourth member to its 2004 Men’s Basketball class. Robert Krabbendam, a 6-11, 200 pound center/power forward out of the Amsterdam suberb of Hoorn, chose the Hokies over St. Joseph’s, Penn State, Pittsburgh, and Fresno State.

A low post player, Krabbendam can run the floor well and has a good shooting touch. According to the Roanoke Times, he was considered one of the top remaining unsigned International players available.
