6-6, 320 pound EE Smith (Fayetteville, NC) prospect Curtis Crouch has only played football for two years. He first began playing as a sophomore, playing defensive tackle for his first full season. He moved to offensive tackle last season as a junior and has progressed into a top prospect in the state of North Carolina.
“He’s been playing football for two years,” EE Smith Head Coach Milton Butts said. “He didn’t play football his freshman year. As a sophomore he played defense. Last year he was primarily on offense. Next season we’ll play him on both sides of the ball.
“Since he started playing he’s gotten a lot stronger. He’s quicker. He plays center on the basketball team and I think that helped his quickness and speed.”
Crouch’s quickness and speed to go along with his massive frame are often too tough for opposing teams to handle.
