According to sources, DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) wide receiver Derrick McPhearson will sign with the University of Florida today. He has chosen Florida over Virginia Tech and Maryland.
McPhearson, who is one of the top wide receivers in the country, made official visits to all three schools before making his decision. He made his official visit to Florida this past weekend.
