John I. Leonard High School running back/cornerback prospect Damian Sims has de-committed from Virginia Tech and will likely attend the University of Iowa, according to Mike Harris of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Sims, a 5-10, 180 pound prospect, will not make his previously scheduled official visit to Virginia Tech this weekend. He had originally committed to the Hokies earlier this month.
