Two down, two to go…that is how many official visits remain for one of the top athletes in the East, Roanoke High School’s (Robersonville, NC) Trimaine Goddard .

UNC, who along with Virginia were tops on Trimaine’s list of schools earlier in the recruiting process, had their shot to impress this past weekend on an official visit. According to Goddard, he had a good time in Chapel Hill.

“It went pretty well,” Goddard said of his official to UNC. “I was hosted by [freshman wide receiver] Mike Mason. I had a chance to chill with all of the players…we all ate together and played video games. It was good hanging out with them. Overall, it was pretty exciting but it wasn’t different from my first official visit.”

Goddard’s first official visit was to the University of Virginia. When asked to compare his first two trips, Trimaine said “they were both about the same. I feel comfortable at both places, and I can’t really compare.”
