One of the gems of Hokies 2004 recruiting class will be enrolling at Virginia Tech in just a few weeks. Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) running back George Bell , who recently played in the Army All-American Bowl, received a qualifying ACT score and is in the process of enrolling at Virginia Tech.

“I got the test scores last night,” Bell said. “I was lifting weights when my coaches told me. We called Virginia Tech, and the coaches are trying to get me in right now…doing whatever they need to do to get me in. They are sending everything to the NCAA Clearinghouse.”

Bell has been planning to enroll early in college since his junior year, when he suffered a devastating knee injury during in the fourth game of the football season.

“I’ve been looking forward to it, which is why I graduated early,” Bell said on enrolling early. “It’s going to be a great opportunity for me, and that’s why I wanted to graduate early.”
