Dutch Visits Maryland

6-0, 190 pound Gonzaga (DC) wide receiver Doug Dutch indicated his visit to the University of Maryland this past weekend was comparable to the rest, with the one difference being familiarity with the program.

“It was fine,” Dutch said. “I finally had a chance to officially visit the school and it was my first time staying overnight, so that was nice to see. It was cool seeing a place close to home. I related pretty well with the players, and it was nice to have guys who knew about the town. I related to the guys that way. It was a little different than the rest, because I’ve been to the school, I’m comfortable with it, and I knew the area.”

Originally scheduled to visit Maryland unofficially this weekend, Dutch eliminated Pittsburgh from consideration and decided to make it an official visit. He is now only a mere official visit away from thinking about a decision. Right now, he seems undecided in terms of which school he will end up choosing.

“No,” Dutch said when asked if he had any idea of where he would go to school. “I try not to think about it too much. They are all the same right now, and I like a lot of things about each of the schools. I’ll probably make my decision after my Florida visit, and it’s going to be tough.”
