Brannon Jackson , a 6-1, 225 pound linebacker prospect from Washington-Marion High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana, was one of the surprise visitors for Virginia’s final home game versus the Maryland Terrapins.

Jackson was on an official visit that weekend, and got a chance to see the Cavaliers dominate the Terrapins 48-13.

“He did take an official visit to Virginia that weekend,” confirmed Washington coach Lamar Thomas. “He enjoyed the visit. We didn’t talk about it too much…all he said was that he was pleased with the visit.”

It is unknown whether or not the Cavaliers have officially offered Jackson a scholarship, although the fact that he took an official visits signals heavy interest from the staff.
