The 6â2â, 180-pound Holloway earned all-state honors in the 110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles, the 200 meters, high jump and long jump events. The talented athlete was in Eugene, Oregon, last week for the USATF Junior Championships, where he finished 3rd in the long jump behind KeAndre Bates of the University of Florida and Nate Moore of the University of Oregon. He was the youngest competitor at the event.

Holloway took advantage of the track opportunity to further explore the University of Oregon, which has now offered a scholarship and would allow him to compete in football and track. Clemson, Georgia, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia and Virginia Tech are among the other scholarship opportunities the Grizzlies standout is considering.
