  1. Could one of you more inf0rmed people explain why Virginia players sign with out of state teams? We used to sign a lot of players from tidewater, Richmond, NoVa. A lot of the High School coaches were Hokie players so we had connections and favored status. What happened? More importantly, how do we turn it around? Are the other competing school facilities that much better? Are our coaches an issue? Is Blacksburg too isolated or small? What?

  2. I hope he does well, but where are the 4-5 star signings?

We are destined for mediocrity and middle of the road status until that happens.

    1. nobody wanted darrisaw out of high school, but the kid is probably going be drafted when he is done at tech. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ are not the be-all and end-all indicator of how recruits will turn out. this kid is good enough for vance vice, he is good enough for tech…

  3. I will never understand how the 60th rated offensive lineman in the US is only a 3 star???

    1. 60th ranked offensive TACKLE. There are 19 non-special teams position groups – and 27 OT’s rated as 4 star or above.

If 60 players at each position group was rated a 4 star, you’d have like 1,200 4 stars.

  4. Always love to see Ivy and military schools in the mix. Big smart guys up front!

    Welcome Canon!

    1. Awesome news so happy to see the pipeline continuing although I questioned the logic- love it when I am wrong

      1. Me too

And whenever he pancakes a LB or squashes a DB please join me in screaming Boooooonnnn …. sounds like boom. Close enough
