With the 2019 football season in the rear view mirror, it’s time to take a look back at Virginia Tech’s true freshmen, what they accomplished during the season, and talk about what the future could hold for each of them. Today we’ll cover the offensive side of the ball, and later we’ll move over to the defense.
Eight true freshmen played on offense for the Hokies this season, though three of those still qualify for a redshirt.
Virginia Tech’s Non-Redshirts
OL Bryan Hudson, 27 Special Teams Snaps, 696 Offensive Snaps, 723 Total Snaps
Considering he had never played center until the month of August, Bryan Hudson did an admirable job for the Hokies this past season. He ranked No. 16 nationally in the number of offensive snaps played by a true freshman offensive lineman.
