Taylor in a Cast, Questionable for BC Game

Virginia Tech trainer Mike Goforth was quoted on hokiesports.com Sunday saying that starting VT QB Tyrod Taylor’s injured ankle has been put in a cast. The cast will be on until Saturday, and Taylor is listed as questionable for the Boston College game Thursday, October 25th.

Goforth described the cast as a “short-leg cast.” No updates will be available on Taylor’s status until the cast is removed on Saturday, October 20th. Taylor hurt the ankle early in the second quarter of Tech’s 43-14 victory over Duke, and Sean Glennon played well in relief.

Prior to his injury, Taylor was 5-of-7 for 88 yards and a touchdown. Glennon went 16-of-21 for 258 yards after replacing Taylor.
