FBS offers continue to trickle in for L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA) athlete Anthony Harris , who now boasts six official offers according to head coach David Bedwell. The 6-3, 185-pound junior, a quarterback and cornerback for the Skyhawks last season, has been visiting colleges and “enjoying” the recruiting process. A decision doesn’t appear imminent.
Providing the latest on his star recruit, Bedwell said, “He got an offer from Louisville. There is also Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Richmond, North Carolina, and I may be leaving someone out.”
Virginia Tech headlines those programs that have not offered but are expressing serious interest in the versatile athlete. Where does Tech stand in terms of a possible offer?
“I think the deal with that is they don’t know how many spots they have,” Bedwell answered. “It’s going to come down to what they need the most. I think most everyone is recruiting Anthony as a defensive back. I think Virginia Tech is still trying to figure it out.”
