Top WR Returns From Miami

The University of Miami impressed Gonzaga (Washington, DC) wide receiver Doug Dutch this weekend, and not just with its football program. Heading into the trip, Dutch wanted to find out more about the school’s academic situation, and he learned a lot this weekend.

“It was nice,” Dutch said of his visit. “I had a chance to see the campus up close, and other things. I learned more about their academics, which was good. They graduate almost all of their seniors that don’t go to the league. They take care of their players with academic support and tutors, which is important. They have a 13-1 student-to-professor ratio, so they have small classes.”

He was also impressed with Miami’s campus, as well as the weather.

“It was hot,” Dutch said with a laugh. “I was wearing shorts there the whole time, and then I came home and I had to wear heavy clothes. It was also a very nice campus. It was pretty small and it was very diverse.”
