  1. Late Hokie: You missed my point. It was: I would bet he did not know that it would stay in his system that long.

    1. Eh, could be true, but I thought it pretty common knowledge that weed was detectable in the blood system for a month. Maybe he didn’t know.

In any case, after hearing what CC said about Jayron on the show, I realized that what I wrote was exactly what he said anyway.

  2. Chris, you are correct that Hosley certainly used bad judgment, however he could have smoked up to thirty days prior to the test and still tested positive.

    1. When you KNOW you’re going to be tested, and you KNOW it will hurt your draft opportunities (at least with some teams), then maybe you can figure out a way to give up the weed for a month.

IMO, it’s not so much the weed (lot’s of people smoke it, not truly addictive, etc etc), but it’s more an indication of “not too bright”. Even if weed isn’t very harmful, isn’t as harmful as alcohol, etc., you know that test is coming and you know that at least some of the teams DO think weed is a problem. Give it up, for 1 month.

    2. FWIW:

…a source told me today that the No Fun League (via whatever means) has the ability to test backwards up to 6o full days for what Cheech & Chong once called: “good clean dope.”
