This past weekend brought us new names in Virginia Tech’s search for an offensive coordinator, and a couple of names have been thrown out as a possible offensive line coach as well.  Today we’ll revisit the weekend’s latest rumors and try to put things in perspective.

In fact, two names have surfaced in Virginia Tech’s search for an offensive coordinator, and two names have surfaced as Tech’s next offensive line coach.  The list definitely has an SEC feel to it.

Offensive Coordinator

The two latest names to get thrown out there for the offensive coordinator position are Joker Phillips and Scot Loeffler.  The strong rumor is that Loeffler interview with Virginia Tech in Blacksburg last Friday, and that discussions have taken place with Joker Phillips as well.  Let’s take a quick look at both guys.
