Not many 15-year-old kids know what it’s like to be recruited by big-time football programs, but Doug Nester is one of them.
“It’s just so unreal, that I’m being recruited as a 15-year-old,” Nester said. “It’s just crazy to me that these schools are looking at me this early.”
Nester, a rising sophomore and offensive tackle at Spring Valley High School in Huntington, WV., camped at Virginia Tech on July 17, which was his second visit to Virginia Tech. The Hokies offered him a scholarship after the camp ended.
