Chris Scott is one of the more decorated high school football coaches in the Commonwealth of Virginia. After leading Ocean Lakes to 86 wins, five district titles and a state championship, Scott announced he was resigning and moving to Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School, also in Virginia Beach, Va.
Scott says that the transition between jobs is going well.
“It’s something new,” Scott said. “With the transition and direction were going in, I’m excited. With that said, being on a different side of the ball, in regards to public vs. private, I felt it was something new for me all the way around, just because I haven’t been around it. It’s all a learning process.”
Scott was one of the first coaches that Virginia Tech Head Coach Justin Fuente reached out to after being hired in November.
