In his first full recruiting class as Virginia Tech head coach, Buzz Williams landed a 5-player class that included high school recruits Kerry Blackshear, Chris Clarke and Justin Robinson, as well as junior college prospects Johnny Hamilton and Ty Outlaw. All three high school prospects were rated on the 4-star level by at least one of the national recruiting outlets (Scout, Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN), and 247Sports ranked the class no. 27 in the nation in the class of 2015.
