There are no offers on the table yet for Class of 2019 linebacker Ben Skinner, but it’s been no secret who he’s hoping will offer most.

Skinner has visited Virginia Tech for four of the Hokies’ first five games this season, including three at home and one last month at East Carolina. He’s open to everyone and has regular contact with a handful of other schools, but the Hokies remain at the top for Skinner, a junior at Riverbend High School in Fredericksburg, Va.

“They’re my number one school,” Skinner said. “They’re the ones who most interact and I feel like I have a good relationship with them. I love the game atmosphere. I love Coach (Bud) Foster. If you’re playing defense, why wouldn’t you want to play for him? It’s a beautiful school and I love the atmosphere there.”

Skinner’s third visit to Blacksburg of the season came just over two weeks ago for Virginia Tech’s game against Clemson. That trip,  stood out among his other visits.
