It’s been several weeks since our last recruiting targets update. Today we’ll
take a look at the offensive side of the ball and see how Virginia Tech’s
recruiting is working out. The Hokies currently have a commitment for every
position on offense, but they’ll be looking to add more as the summer moves
along.
Recruiting Targets, Offense |
||
Position | Expected Numbers |
Current Commits |
QB | 1-2 | 1 |
RB | 2 | 1 |
WR | 3-4 | 1 |
TE | 1-2 | 1 |
OL | 3-4 | 1 |
The “expected numbers” are just guesstimates on my part. The
“current commits” column might be a bit off as well, depending on how
a player is slotted. For example, I list Mario Nixon as Tech’s only wide
receiver commit, because I think Der’Woun Greene and
Desmond Frye are destined
for safety. However, Greene and Frye could potentially play wide receiver as
well if the Hokies miss out on some of their top targets such as Joel
Caleb,
Kwinton Smith and Stefon
Diggs.

board.
This article will focus on Tech’s top targets, and the players they have the
greatest chance of landing.
