Ken Oxendince

Notes: Oxendine was a 4-year letterman and a 2-year starter for the Hokies. He is the seventh leading rusher in Tech history. He led the team in rushing in 1996 and 1997. He led the Big East in scoring in 1996. He was 2nd Team All Big East in 1997 and 1st Team in 1996. He was drafted in the 7th round of the 1998 NFL Draft.

Oxendine was Tech's top recruit of 1994. He was #2 in the state by The Roanoke Times. He was in Max Emfinger's National Top 100. One of the nation's top 50 recruits by Street & Smith. Tom Lemming rated him the #14 tailback in the nation. He chose the Hokies over UVA, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State, and many others.
