  1. Chris, what do you think of Coach JJ’s assistants? Could some changes there help the program? Personally, I don’t know who the assistants are…it’s like they don’t exist. CJJ seems to have done all the recruiting, and has gotten some good players. What have the assistants done?

    1. Kanaskie is doing a really nice job, recruiting, scouting, making adjustments with JJ, etc. But I don’t see any changes. I think the hoops world views JJ as a lame duck coach right now, so it would be very tough for him to go out and hire really good assistants. They might be looking for a new job after one season. There’s a reason JJ had to promote his basketball ops guy to assistant coach after last season. He probably couldn’t find anybody more qualified who was willing to take the job.
