Defensive Tackle Ricky Walker Earns No. 25 for Virginia Tech vs. Duke

Virginia Tech defensive tackle Ricky Walker caused quite the disruption for North Carolina’s offense last Saturday. On Thursday, he was rewarded for his efforts by earning the No. 25 jersey vs. Duke.

Walker is a redshirt junior and one of the leaders of the Virginia Tech defense. Against North Carolina, Walker recorded four tackles and 1.5 sacks, and also returned a fumble for a touchdown. So far for the season, Walker has made 26 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
