College football kicks off very, very soon, so it’s that time of year for the preseason rankings to come out. The AP dropped it’s top-25 poll on Monday, and Virginia Tech football is ranked 21st.
Here is a list of ACC teams ranked in the poll…
No. 3. Florida State
No. 5. Clemson
No. 16. Louisville
No. 18. Miami
No. 21. Virginia Tech
Miami, who is considered to be the biggest threat to dethrone Virginia Tech as Coastal Division champions, finished the poll with 492 points. The Hokies, three spots below, are at 240 points.
West Virginia is ranked 22nd, directly behind Virginia Tech. The Mountaineers finished 10-3 last season, and finished the poll with 207 overall points.
