The bye week always affords us the opportunity to go in a different direction.  Instead of breaking down a different game, it’s time to take a look at certain parts of the program.  Today we’re going to talk about the ups and downs of recruiting.

Darren Evans vs. Michael Holmes as recruits, the natural wide receiver vs. the athlete, a comparison of offensive talent between Duke and Virginia Tech … yes, it’s debatable.  We’ll talk about those things, and more.   Actually, let’s start with that last part first.

Somebody brought up an interesting point to me over the weekend.  I had to go through a quick little exercise in my head, and now I’m going to ask you to do the same.  Who has better skilled position players and quarterbacks on offense right now … Virginia Tech or Duke?
