Blessed Sacrament Huguenot (Powhatan, VA) senior Augie Conte got an up-close look at his future team last Saturday, when he witnessed Virginia Tech’s 38-35 win over Miami. It was the second Virginia Tech game the 6’6″, 275-pound offensive tackle prospect has attended, only this time he attended as a Tech commit.

“I went to the JMU game [in 2010]. The end this year wasn’t quite the same,” Conte said with a laugh. “I really loved the atmosphere there this past weekend. I had a lot of fun.”

The game atmosphere, Conte said, “was pretty crazy. It was probably one of the most excited atmospheres I’ve ever been to. I liked it a lot.”
