6-3, 285-pound Manchester (Midlothian, VA) recruit Khalil Latif, who is rated a 3-star prospect and the #13 overall recruit in the state by Techsideline.com, is expected to make a verbal commitment today.
Latif’s finalists include Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He has taken unofficial visits to each program, including a trip to Blacksburg this past Friday.
According to head coach Tom Hall, there will be no press conference. Latif will simply call the coaches in the early afternoon.
Latif finished his junior season last year with over 80 pancake blocks, earning Richmond Times-Dispatch first-team all-metro honors for his performance.
