Virginia Tech senior offensive lineman Kyle Chung has been named to the Rimington Award Watch List.  The Rimington Award is given each season to the nation’s most outstanding center.  The rising redshirt-senior was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA during the offseason.

Chung started all 13 games at right tackle for the Hokies last season, but he moved inside to center during the spring.  He is expected to start there this season, where he’ll be one of the most experienced players on an offensive line that is expected to be a team strength.

For his career, Chung has started 16 games for Virginia Tech.  That ranks second of all offensive lineman, only behind Yosuah Nijman’s 22.
