Virginia Tech has added Kody Cooke to the strength and conditioning staff, with the official title of Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning. He’ll work directly under Associate AD for Strength and Conditioning Ben Hilgart.
Cooke comes to Virginia Tech from Arizona State. He began as a graduate assistant in 2013 before ending his career there as a sports performance assistant coach. This past season he worked directly with the development of Arizona State’s offensive linemen.
Cooke played offensive line at Oklahoma, and later transferred and finished his career at Tulsa.

Football can be lost at the offensive line. The work going toward making a consistently good o-line at VT is great to see.
