After routing Rider on Friday night by a score of 76-52, Virginia Tech women’s basketball will host at least one more game inside Cassell Coliseum vs. Navy in the second round of the WNIT.
Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
This is the second consecutive season the Hokies have advanced to the second round of the WNIT. Last year, Virginia Tech defeated Elon at home before losing to Ohio on the road in the second round. This year, Navy advanced to the second round by defeating George Washington 61-51 in overtime.
