Goodness me, Miami is playing like they’re back. Now, I have a hard time believing these guys don’t step on their shoelaces and pitch head-first into a woodchipper at least one time this season, but right now they look good. They’ve portaled in a bunch of stars to help out the homegrown talent, and while I suspect the #8 ranking is too high, they’ve whipped two decent in-state rivals, which is an eye-opener for sure. PFF gives them an overall team grade of 98.2, behind only Ole Miss with 98.4.

Offense

It’s funny watching the offense work…the backfield action is almost lackadaisical, and yet it pumps out plays like this:

It’s a split-second away from getting blown up, and then a little dump-off to running back Damien Martinez (#6) turns into a big play.
