I see a clear hurdle on the FG attempt, at least by the letter of the law. He clearly left his feet and went over another player who was not on the ground at the point of the jump. – MD Hokie

I ran hurdles long ago. That looked better than some of my efforts. If the goal of having the penalty on the books is to address player safety, that’s clearly a personal foul. Not only does it violate the letter of the rule, it also violates the spirit. – HokieEngineer
