It hasn’t come time for Courtland (Va.) offensive lineman Jaiden Edwards to narrow his focus in his recruitment yet. In the meantime, he’s building and leaning on relationships to push his recruitment forward.

Edwards has three scholarship offers from Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh and Wake Forest. He just made his first game visit of the season to see the Hokies’ win over Marshall. As Edwards plans more, he’s sifting through plenty of pros and cons, including what he’s heard from those he trusts.

“I want coaches that are in unison, in one mindset, talking with each other and know what they want,” he said. “And a good academic program, too. I’m thinking I’ll major in something with engineering.”
