One quarter into the season, it’s time to take stock and think about what’s coming the rest of the way.

Brent Pry and his staff are very good at winning the offseason, and that’s what they did from January through August of this year. Now the season is underway, and with three games in the books, it’s charitable to say that the results are mixed.

I have a friend who makes fun of me for swinging back and forth between optimism and pessimism (I prefer “realism” to pessimism) based on the results of games. Hey, it’s why I’m here! Chris, David, Andy and our freelancers do a great job of bringing you all the insights, analysis and information, but it’s my job to be more of a “voice of the fan” when I write.
