NORFOLK — See, going to Old Dominion isn’t so bad when you win.

Virginia Tech finally went to the 757 and took care of business, handling the Monarchs 37-17 for its first win in S.B. Ballard Stadium.

In doing so, the Hokies (2-1) changed the narrative about the much-loathed trip, avoiding another embarrassment in the Tidewater and perhaps signaling that they’re back on track in a season that had high hopes coming in.
