The offensive line grouping the Hokies were experimenting with in the final weeks of preseason camp will be the lineup they trot out Saturday against Vanderbilt.
Virginia Tech revealed a starting trio on the interior of Layth Ghannam at left guard, Braelin Moore at center and Kaden Moore at right guard when it released its opening-week depth chart ahead of Tuesday’s weekly news conference.
That’s a switch from the end of last year when the Moore brothers were both one slot over to the left and Bob Schick was the starting right guard.
“I think it’s that combination, we like that the best,” head coach Brent Pry said. “It wasn’t one person.”
