The Hokies trotted out an interior offensive line grouping of Layth Ghannam, Braelin Moore and Kaden Moore again Wednesday, though both head coach Brent Pry and offensive line coach Ron Crook implored fans not to read too much into it.
That’s getting hard to do as preseason camp comes to a close, with full-scale prep for the Vanderbilt opener on Aug. 31 set to begin soon, right after this hybrid week of work.
Still, Virginia Tech’s coaches say they’re just experimenting with lineups up front.
“At this stage, we’re still bouncing guys around,” said Crook, who noted there are still seven or eight guys who are working with the first unit. “It’s still very fluid.”
