It’s always a fun week when conference realignment buzz gets back in the news.
I was not in Amelia Island in Florida for the recent ACC meetings, though a lot of good reporters were, chronicling the drama surrounding a league with a revenue problem — as in there isn’t enough of it — and no real good solutions.
After a few days of a bubbling mutiny, a lot of bravado and some airing of grievances (though no reports of feats of strength), the ACC exited with this message of unity:
...ACC commissioner Jim Phillips on league’s future: “What I’ve been told (by ADs and presidents) is that we’re all in this together — emphatically.”
