Yes, Mount Airy (NC) three-star running back Tyler Mason rushed for 2,303 yards and scored 52 touchdowns. But playing in Class 1A, the competition isn’t as highly regarded.

“I do come from a 1A school, and the competition is a little low,” Mason said. “But nobody knows I only played two quarters every game. With my stats, I had 52 TDs playing ‘til halftime. The only time I played all four quarters was week two and the playoffs, the fourth game and the state championship. So, my stats would have been, I think I would be had 100 touchdowns.”
