One of the prominent goals Roswell (Ga.) 2024 offensive tackle Anthonie Knapp had heading into his junior season was to gain weight. He’d played well, but he was light and struggled with bigger defen-sive linemen.

Now at 250 pounds, Knapp has held his own this fall, and that’s been noticed.

Virginia Tech became the latest to offer Knapp a scholarship and joins UMASS and Charlotte. It was a breakthrough offer that his him looking at more possibilities for his collegiate career. But Knapp said he’s not rushing to a decision.
