Riley Trujillo Visits Virginia Tech

Riley Trujillo
Quarterback, Class of 2024
Bartram Trail, Jacksonville, FL
6-3, 200

It was an early start, 11am local time for Virginia Tech’s game Saturday against Wofford. For Bartram Trail (Fla.) three-star quarterback Riley Trujillo, however, it was a good place to make his first game visit of the season.

Trujillo’s visit was also his first to Blacksburg, but it was more than enough to get a sense of the Hokies on the field and get a glimpse off of it. Trujillo, Rivals.com’s No. 8 dual-threat quarterback in the 2024 class, still has plenty more he wants to see and do with his recruitment, but he said he has a bit more context now.

“I thought it was amazing, the campus is beautiful, and the atmosphere is crazy,” Trujillo said. “Even before the game, you could tell they were getting hyped up. When I talked to Coach (Brad) Glenn, Coach Chris (Marve), they’re all cool guys. You just had relaxed, easy conversations with them. After the game, the coaches got everyone hype, and it was fun to see. The game atmosphere, the fans, it was packed. It was just really energetic.”
