For nearly six months, Graham (Va.) offensive lineman Brody Meadows was set. He committed to Virginia in June, but thanks to a coaching change that decision changed in an instant.

Meadows flipped his pledge on National Signing Day to Virginia Tech, but the decision had already been made days before that. Now that the decision is done, Meadows said he’s ready to get going with the Hokies in just a few weeks.

“It was like fate for me,” Meadows said. “I’m 45 minutes from Virginia Tech. My family can come see me, my friends. Bluefield is a big Virginia Tech area. To stay at home and play for VT, for my hometown, is a huge deal for me.”
