What should Virginia Tech be looking for in it’s next head football coach? We’ve assembled a team of writers to discuss the matter. The panelists are Eric Carr (VTizzle on the boards), GMSA Hokie, Brandon Patterson, and Chris Coleman.

The first two years in the Fuente era had us all thinking Virginia Tech was on the way back! However, looking back, 2018 was when the warning sirens should have gone off for everyone. The team suddenly started to look less familiar to Hokie fans. The loss to Old Dominion was when I began to question the mental toughness and physicality of the program. That game highlighted the defensive issues as the roster started to turn over to Fuente’s recruits.
