1) Being at practice in person, who best passed the eye test? And who was less than impressive as offseason strength and conditioning appeared to you, and to Will? – bourbonstreet

Chris Coleman: Virginia Tech didn’t “recruit well” in terms of the national rankings in the 2020 and 2021 classes, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at most of the guys from those classes who are currently in the program.  That 2020 class has already seen plenty of attrition, and it seems like it’s going to be boom or bust, but those that are still in the program from that class look impressive.  They aren’t necessarily great football players yet, because they are still young, but they look the part.

Here are some guys who stand out physically…

Tahj Bullock: He’s not quite Quincy Patterson big, but he’s an impressive looking guy, and his arm looks plenty strong enough in limited viewing.  I’ll watch him again tonight.
