On Dec. 3, Ola (Ga.) three-star defensive tackle Devin Lee ended a nearly six-week commitment to Ole Miss. He insists his recruitment is now open to all interested schools, but in actuality his mind is made up.

Lee isn’t ready to divulge what school he has on the top of his mind, but he is ready to make that choice known on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period, when he signs his national letter of intent.

“Once I decommitted, it’s really just open to everybody,” Lee said. “I’m really looking just for opportunity, what best fits me, on the field. It’s scheme and depth chart, for sure.”

Lee,’s No. 72 player in Georgia for the 2021 class, initially committed to the Rebels on Oct. 21. Though he declined to divulge his reasons for decommitting, he insists they’re still one of his possibilities.

“I’m still considering them,” Lee said. “I would say it’s still good. We still talk often, every couple of days. It hasn’t been different. They just say I always have a home at Ole Miss.”

Virginia Tech is among those schools Lee said he’s also considering. He visited Blacksburg with his family in July on his own accord. Though he was prohibited from contact with any football staff members, per NCAA rules, Lee said he still learned plenty about the university and its surroundings.
