1) If you could have been a student during any four years of the Beamer years which 4-year period would you have picked? – Diehard Hokie 

Chris Coleman: I love questions like this.  I was a student during the 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 seasons.  I got to Tech immediately after the Vick years, and just like that the Hokies lost four games, four games, and five games in my first three years in Blacksburg.  I thought I was the curse, and perhaps I was.  But they finally got back on track when I was a senior and won the ACC in their first season in the league.  Bryan Randall will probably be my all-time favorite football player because he got me an ACC Championship during my senior year of college.

I suppose the correct answer would be 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.  My college career would have been bookended by an Orange Bowl appearance against Nebraska, and then the magical ride that was the 1999 season.  I bet it was awesome to be a student in 1999.  Two of my friends from high school were freshmen that year,
