Virginia Tech Fisher Law Firm Friday Q&A

1) What are the expectations for Keshawn King? Missing spring probably hurt his development and nobody knows what condition he is in (how much weight he added), but he seems to be a guy that nobody is talking about. There has been a lot of talk about the two transfer RBs, but I really think that King could become a #1 guy and someone that can make some big plays. – EddieVT

Chris Coleman: One of they guys I’m disappointed for right now is Keshawn King.  He hasn’t done anything wrong in my eyes, but he was one of those guys who needed a complete offseason in the weight room to take the next step.  He was deprived of that by COVID-19.

I assume King spent his pandemic time back home in Orange Park, FL, which is just south of Jacksonville.  He went to Oak Hill High School, which is a big enough high school that they offer an Aviation/Aerospace Academy.  Point being, I don’t think he grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, so to speak, so it’s possible that his parents could provide weightlifting equipment, or he knows people with a home gym.  But I’m just speculating…I honestly don’t know.
